... is 120 km (75 miles) in length. It rises in the Cambrian Mountains, pretty much in the middle of Wales. It flows through the towns of Llandovery, Llandeilo and Carmarthen, emptying into Carmarthen Bay some 9 km (5 miles) south of Carmarthen itself.
